Private Chef to the Stars Conducts Demonstration at The Cook’s
Warehouse
Attendees will learn to create culinary
dishes worthy of any Hollywood soiree
ATLANTA, April 6, 2006 -- Today with the world moving at lightning
speed, the private chef to the stars will demonstrate how to shop
in your local grocery store and prepare gourmet meals without spending
all day in the kitchen. Richard Florczak, author of The Private
Chef cookbook and personal chef to director and actor Mel Gibson,
will conduct a cooking demonstration on Saturday, April 22 from
7 to 9 p.m. at The Cook’s Warehouse newest location in Decatur
(180 West Ponce de Leon Avenue). A book signing and mini-tasting
will be held on Sunday, April 23 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at The
Cook’s Warehouse Midtown store (549-I Amsterdam Ave. N.E.).
During the event Florczak will demonstrate how to prepare Creamy
Tortilla Soup, Grilled Swordfish with Thai Coconut Sauce, and Champagne
Terrine with Seasonal Berries. Attendees will have the opportunity
to sample culinary delights, record recipes, and talk with Florczak
about life as the private chef to the stars. He will also divulge
shopping tips, share his favorite brands, and autograph copies of

Richard Florczak has been the private chef to high profile celebrities
for more than fifteen years. He is the author of the cookbook The
Private Chef. For the past nine years Richard has been the full-time,
exclusive chef for actor and director Mel Gibson and was recently
sought after by Jennifer Garner to provide services on a part-time
basis. Richard has also worked for other noted celebrities, including
Gela and John Taylor—owner of Juicy Couture and founding member
of Duran Duran. Florczak honed his craft at the prestigious Hotel

Richard received his training from The UCLA Chef Program, The Culinary
