HOW TO BE A PRIVATE CHEF
LOS ANGELES: May 6, 2010 – Who wants to be the next exclusive chef to the stars? Richard Florczak is the world’s premier, most sought after private chef, and he shows how to thrive in this burgeoning industry in his new “How to Be a Private Chef” program. Florczak has been preparing A-list menus for Hollywood’s elite for two decades. For the last thirteen years, he has been the full-time private chef for actor and director, Mel Gibson, and was also sought after by Jennifer Garner to provide services on a part-time basis.
“The chef most synonymous with the private chef industry is Richard Florczak,” said Garner. “He is overwhelmingly considered Hollywood’s number one Private Chef. I was amazed that one person could have worked for so many high-profile Hollywood celebrities. Twice a week he would come to my home. The meals were always healthy, delicious and beautifully presented.”
Richard’s helped several prestigious Private Chefs get their start, including Darren McGrady – personal chef to Princess Diana for many years – and Sean Shepherd, the private chef to actors Emilio Estevez and Will Smith. So whether you’re a seasoned pro or wanting to start a career in the culinary arts, Richard’s new “How to Be a Private Chef” six-CD audio set (with companion manual) serves up all the ingredients for success, including:
- time-tested techniques that anyone can use to make great money as a Private Chef
- Richard’s insider tips to quickly go from mid-level chef (or home cook) to A-List Private Chef traveling the world with celebrities
- how to impress the agencies that place chefs with Hollywood’s biggest stars or wealthy clients in your area
- recipes that please the palettes of even the most intimidating of clients
- what it takes to secure an A-List position, and stay on for as long as you want.
Florczak’s program proves to be a real benefit for anyone considering a move into the once-exclusive personal chef world. Truly making a difference for his growing following, he touches on all facets of the Private Chef world, including how to present delicious five-star culinary creations from items that can be easily purchased at the local grocery store. Not to be mistaken with restaurant chefs, Florczak makes clear, “Typically, restaurant chefs have groceries and supplies delivered right to their door, and a full staff to support them. Private Chefs are just like any home cook – shopping themselves to create a different menu and working with what they have. Plus, cooking in someone else’s kitchen – especially a wealthy client and his or her family – requires patience, creativity, and the ability to cook for a wide variety of diets and tastes.”
The quintessential private chef, and Hollywood’s best-kept secret, until now, Florczak is also available for special bookings where he will bring his most popular and exclusive creations to one’s home or special event. His recipe demonstrations are all the rave and continue to be in growing demand.
Not skimping on his generous recipe offering, nor in divulging the secret techniques that got him into Hollywood’s most exclusive kitchens -- Florczak dishes all in “How to Be a Private Chef.” He further shares shopping tips including his favorite brands. Covering a wide spectrum, Florczak can teach almost anyone how to effortlessly organize and present delicious meals – from a romantic dinner for two on a private jet, to a lavish party of more than 700 attendees.
